How US account details work.
Can a company outside the US get US account details?
Yes. Vezmo gives businesses registered in the US and in many other countries USD account details for ACH and wire payments, in early access. Which details your business gets depends on where it is registered and where its owners live; we check this when you apply.
Is this a US bank account?
Not exactly. Your USD details let clients pay into an account held by our regulated partners & Bank, and the money is credited to your Vezmo balance, which belongs to your business. They are not a bank account in your name, and Vezmo is not a bank.
How your money is heldHow do US clients pay me?
By ACH or wire, using your routing number and account number, the same way they pay a US business. You can also send them an invoice they pay by card, ACH, Apple Pay or Google Pay.
Do I need a US company?
Vezmo serves businesses registered in the US and in many other countries, including freelancers and sole traders working for themselves. We check your business when you apply.
What can I do with the dollars?
Keep them in your USD balance, convert them to EUR or AED, or pay suppliers, contractors or your own account abroad in 150+ currencies, with the rate and fee shown before you confirm.
What does it cost?
USD account details are free, and receiving ACH and domestic wire (Fedwire) payments to them is free. Every conversion and payout shows its fee before you confirm. Accounts are in early access.
