Security & Compliance

Security is a core part of how we design, build and run Vezmo. We protect your data, your money and your trust with industry-standard security practices, strict compliance controls and continuous improvement.

01

Our security approach

We believe security should be:
  • Proactive: anticipating and preventing threats.
  • Transparent: giving you clear information.
  • Comprehensive: covering data, systems, networks and people.
  • Continuous: always evolving to match new risks.
This approach governs every part of Vezmo’s technology and operations.
02

Industry-standard compliance

We work with recognised security and compliance frameworks to protect your data and transactions:
PCI DSS. Card details are entered into secure fields provided by our payment processor, which is certified to PCI DSS Level 1, the highest level. Full card numbers never reach Vezmo’s servers.
SOC 1 and SOC 2. Our payment processor is independently audited under SOC 1 and SOC 2. We follow the same control areas in how we build and run Vezmo: security, availability, processing integrity, confidentiality and privacy.
Regulatory frameworks. We align with the regulatory and security standards that apply where we operate, including financial services regulations, data protection laws and industry best practice.
03

How we protect your data

  • All traffic to and from Vezmo is encrypted with HTTPS/TLS.
  • Sensitive data is encrypted in storage and in transit.
  • We host on secure cloud infrastructure with strong physical and network protections.
04

Sign-in and access control

  • Two-step sign-in: on by default for every account (a code by email, an authenticator app or a passkey), and required for our team’s access.
  • Role-based access: permissions are set by role, so people only see what their work needs.
  • Strong passwords: we ask for strong, unique passwords.
These measures help prevent unauthorised access and account takeover.
05

Secure development and deployment

Security is built into how we make software:
  • Code is reviewed against secure coding practices.
  • Vulnerability scanning and threat modelling are part of our process.
  • We review and test our systems for security issues before and after changes.
Our engineering and operations teams work together to catch issues early and keep the platform secure over time.
06

Monitoring, detection and response

We monitor continuously for suspicious activity and threats:
  • Real-time system and network monitoring
  • Alerts for unusual behaviour
  • Incident response processes to act quickly
We keep detailed logs and audit trails that help us investigate and respond to events.
07

Account and identity protection

We protect accounts and personal data with:
  • Secure password handling (hashed and salted)
  • Limits on sign-in attempts, and security alerts
  • Two-step sign-in on by default, with authenticator apps and passkeys available
These protections help defend against stolen credentials and account misuse.
08

Third parties and integrations

Where Vezmo works with processors, banking partners, cloud providers or analytics tools, we review their security before we use them, and choose partners with strong security and compliance standards.
09

Compliance and transparency

  • Our policies and practices align with industry standards.
  • We make compliance documentation available to qualified partners on request.
  • We regularly review and update our controls as threats change.
We build Vezmo to be secure by design, not by accident.
10

Your part

Security is a shared effort. To protect your account and data:
  • Use a strong password you don’t use anywhere else
  • Keep two-step sign-in on
  • Keep your devices and browsers up to date
  • Tell us straight away about anything suspicious, at security@vezmo.com
11

Incident response and reporting

We have a formal incident response plan to:
  • Detect and assess security events
  • Contain and reduce the risk
  • Notify affected users and authorities as required
  • Review and improve our systems afterwards
If you think you have found a security issue, write to our security team at security@vezmo.com.
12

Privacy and data retention

Security and privacy go together. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information, how long we keep it, and your rights. We work to comply with the data protection laws that apply to us, such as the GDPR and the CCPA.
13

Continuous improvement

Security is never “done”. We regularly:
  • Update infrastructure and dependencies
  • Run security assessments
  • Improve internal policies
  • Train our teams on security
We learn from new threats and industry advances to keep you protected.
