Plans and billing

How your Vezmo plan is paid, what happens when you move up or down a plan, what happens if a payment fails, where to find your plan invoices, the two account fees (extra currency accounts and the Free plan's upkeep), the 30 days' notice before a price goes up, and the reminder before a price agreed for your business ends.

Overview

Every business is on a Vezmo plan: Free, Grow, Pro or Enterprise. Your plan sets your prices and fees, and how many team members, e-sign agreements and currency accounts you get. Plans and their prices are on vezmo.com/pricing.

Free costs nothing. A paid plan is billed monthly on the day it started, or yearly up front for twelve months. You see your plan, your next bill and your invoices in Plan & billing (in the sidebar's plan card, the Settings menu, or your profile menu).

Plan & billing on Free: Current plan Free, Active, $0 a month, and See plans; a Next bill card reading $0.00, Free has no bill, and Grow from $29 a month; a rail with Billing: Nothing to pay, This period: No billing period, Plan credit: $0.00. Beside it, How your plan is paid: 1 Vezmo account balance, 2 VezmoPay balance, 3 Card, optional, with Add a card.
Your plan, your next bill, and the order each bill is taken in.

What you're using shows each limit against your plan: team members, e-sign agreements this month, currency accounts beyond USD, and the ACH transfers your plan includes each month. Below them, API requests a minute shows your plan's number for all your API keys together and your busiest minute today (see Plan limits). Payments, invoices and links are never limited.

What you're using: Team members 1 of 2, 1 left; E-sign this month 1 of 3, 2 left; Currency accounts 0 of 0, None included, Grow has more; ACH transfers 0 included a month, Grow includes 9 a month.
Example: a business on Free.

How your plan is paid

Each bill is taken from your own Vezmo money first, so most businesses never need a card:

  1. Your Vezmo account balance

US dollars first, then any other currency you hold, converted at the day's rate.

  2. Your VezmoPay balance

The money from your sales that hasn't been paid out yet.

  3. Your saved card

Optional. Add a card in Plan & billing if you'd like it as a backup. Your bank may ask you to confirm the card when you add it.

Every payment comes with an invoice you can download as a PDF, and a receipt by email.

Change your plan

Plans lists every plan at your business's own prices, monthly or yearly. Pick one and you see exactly what you pay before anything changes.

Plans with a Monthly and Yearly switch (Save 20%): Free (current), Grow $29 a month with Upgrade to Grow, Pro $99 a month with Upgrade to Pro, and Enterprise, Custom, with Talk to us. Under them: Upgrades start at once and you pay only for the days left; downgrades start at your next billing date.
Your prices, as they apply to your business.
Review your plan change: Grow, billed monthly, $29.00 a month, with its limits on the left. On the right: Grow, monthly, a whole month until the next bill date; Due today $29.00; taken from your Vezmo account first, then VezmoPay, then $29.00 every month; Cancel and Pay $29.00 and upgrade.
Example: the review before moving from Free to Grow. Nothing changes until you confirm.
ChangeWhen it startsWhat you pay
Move up (for example Grow to Pro)At once, as soon as the payment goes throughThe difference for the whole days left until your next bill. Your old plan's unused days count toward it.
Monthly to yearlyAt onceThe year, less your unused monthly days. Your yearly bill date is the day you switch.
Move down (for example Pro to Grow, or to Free)On your next bill dateNothing now. You keep your current plan until then, and you can cancel the change before that day.
Yearly to monthlyAt the end of your yearNothing now.
EnterpriseOn the date in your contractAs agreed in your contract, paid by invoice. Talk to us.

When you move up, the new plan starts once its payment goes through. If it can't be taken within 24 hours, the change is cancelled and you stay on your current plan; anything already taken is kept as plan credit for your next bill. A difference under $0.50 isn't charged.

A move down waits for your next bill date. Until then Plan & billing shows the change with Cancel the change.

Before you move down, Plan & billing lists anything you have beyond the lower plan's limits. Nothing is taken away: extra team members stay but you can't invite more, extra currency accounts stay, and the new e-sign allowance starts with the next month.

Choose a plan when you sign up

The last step of sign-up, Choose your plan, lets you pick Grow or Pro, monthly or yearly. Nothing is charged then. The plan starts, and its first bill is paid from your balance first, then your card, when your business is approved. Until then you're on Free. Prices are shown for your country, and your plan's price is confirmed when your business is approved.

Where paid plans aren't open for your business yet, we keep your choice, and you stay on Free with nothing charged until then.

If a payment fails

Your plan stays on while we try again. Nothing is suspended and nothing is deleted.

  1. Day 0: we try everything

We try your Vezmo account balance, your VezmoPay balance and your card. If none of them covers the bill, we email you, add Pay for your plan to your To-do, and show a Plan payment failed banner on every dashboard page with Pay now. Pay now tries your balances, then your card with you there, so your bank can ask you to confirm it.

  2. Days 1 to 13: we keep trying

We take it as soon as money reaches your Vezmo account or VezmoPay balance, and we try your card again about eight times. If your card is reported lost, has expired, or your bank asks you to confirm the payment, we stop trying it: pay from the link in the email or in Plan & billing, or add another card.

  3. Day 14: your plan moves to Free

If the bill still isn't paid, your business moves to Free and we email you. You don't owe anything for the unpaid time, and anything already taken toward it is kept as plan credit. You can move back up at any time.

Invoices

Each plan payment has an invoice in Plan & billing, with the plan, the period it covers, any plan credit used and how it was paid. Download it as a PDF. Your invoice is addressed to your business's registered address and tax ID from your verification. Your next bill is listed at the top as Upcoming.

Invoices on Free: a small drawing of an invoice, No invoices yet, Free has no bills, and a See plans button. Under it, Good to know: your invoices, if a payment fails, and plan credit.
On Free there's nothing to bill; each plan payment adds an invoice here, with a PDF.

Account fees

Two fees can apply outside a transfer: extra currency accounts, and the Free plan's upkeep fee. Account fees in Plan & billing shows both. They're taken like a plan bill, from your Vezmo account balance first and then your VezmoPay balance. If those don't cover a fee, the rest is taken first from the next money that comes in.

Account fees: on the left, Extra currency accounts, $5 a month each: Free includes your USD account; each other currency is $5 a month, charged from the day it opens; flags for EUR, GBP, AED and SGD with Add a currency; Nothing to pay for currency accounts, $0.00. On the right, Upkeep, Oct – Dec 2026, No fee: No Vezmo account yet, with the quarter as a track from Oct to Dec ending in No fee.
Example: a business on Free with no Vezmo account yet.

Extra currency accounts

Your plan includes some currency accounts beyond USD. Free includes your USD account only, Grow two more currencies, and Pro and Enterprise all of them (AED, EUR, GBP and SGD). The first ones you open are the included ones. Each one after that is $5 a month:

  • It's charged from the day it opens: a part of the month, for the whole days left until your next billing day, then $5 on each billing day while it's open. A part month under $0.50 isn't charged.
  • Your billing day is your plan's bill date. On Free, it's the day of the month you joined.
  • Close the account and the next charge doesn't come. Time already paid for isn't refunded.
  • If an included account closes, the next one you opened becomes included from your next billing day.

When you add a currency in Accounts, it says whether it's included ("Included in Grow (1 of 2 used)") or what it costs. If it costs money, you see what's taken today and then each month, and confirm before it opens.

If extra currency accounts aren't charged on your account for now, Account fees says Free for now and why, with no price or next charge. Adding a currency then says there's no charge for now, and nothing is taken.

The upkeep fee (Free)

On Free, a $15 upkeep fee applies in a calendar quarter when your Vezmo account is quiet. It only applies once you have a Vezmo account. There's no fee for a quarter when any one of these is true:

  • $2,000 or more came in during the quarter. This counts money into your Vezmo accounts and payments you accepted.
  • Your average balance for the quarter was $1,000 or more. We record your balance at the end of each day, in US dollars.
  • It was your account's first quarter.
  • Your balance wasn't recorded for nearly every day of the quarter. That's true of the quarter we began recording balances in, so that quarter has no fee. Plan & billing shows the quarter upkeep starts from.
  1. 14 days before the quarter ends

If your quarter has been quiet so far, we email you and add Avoid the $15 upkeep fee to your To-do, with what you'd need to avoid it. Plan & billing shows the quarter so far against both amounts.

  2. The 2nd day after the quarter ends

On 2 January, 2 April, 2 July and 2 October, we look at the whole quarter again. If no rule above applies, we take $15 from your balance and email you. If your balance is less than $15, the rest is taken first from the next money that comes in.

You're never charged without the warning first. Grow, Pro and Enterprise never pay upkeep, so moving to Grow before the quarter ends also means no fee.

When a price goes up

We tell you at least 30 days before anything you pay goes up: your plan price, a fee, or fewer currency accounts included (each one past them costs $5 a month). You get an email, and Your prices change on shows in your To-do until that day. The notice lists each change for your business, what it is now and what it will be, and the date.

  • A fee changes on that date.
  • A limit (team members, e-sign agreements a month, API requests a minute) isn't a price, so a change to one has no 30-day notice of its own; a notice lists it when it comes with a price change. Nothing you have is taken away: members over a new limit stay, and a new monthly allowance starts the next month.
  • Your plan price changes with your first bill on or after that date. A bill you've already paid isn't changed.
  • A lower price agreed for your business alone ends on its agreed date. We send a reminder 30 days before that date, with what you pay now and what you'll pay from then (and Your agreed price ends on shows in your To-do). If it has to end sooner, we tell you at least 30 days before.
  • When a price goes down, it can start at once, and there's no notice.

If a change we told you about no longer goes ahead (it's cancelled, or a newer change replaces it), it leaves your To-do. If we'd already emailed you about it, you get one short email saying it's no longer going ahead: what stays the same, or the newer notice that replaces it.

You can change your plan or close your account at any time from Plan & billing. A move to a lower plan starts at your next bill.

Who can change the plan

Owners and Managers can change the plan, add or remove its card, and pay a plan bill. Other team members can see the page, but its buttons are off. Invoices need the permission to see the business's bills.

Questions

Do I need a card?

No. If your Vezmo account or VezmoPay balance has the money on your bill date, the plan is paid from it.

What is plan credit?

Money already paid for a plan that you didn't use: the unused days when you move up, or what was taken toward a bill that didn't complete. Credit or free months our team gives you, and the unused days when we move you to another plan, are plan credit too. It is used first on your next plan bill. It is never paid out.

Do extra currency accounts or upkeep need a card?

No. Both are taken from your Vezmo account and VezmoPay balances only. If they're short, the rest is taken from the next money that comes in.

Can my prices go up without warning?

No. Anything you pay goes up only 30 days or more after we email you about it, and the To-do shows it too. A price that goes down can start at once.

What if a price change we told you about is called off?

It leaves your To-do, and if we'd emailed you about it, we email you once to say it's no longer going ahead. If a newer change replaces it, that change has its own notice, at least 30 days before it starts.

Can I go back to Free?

Yes. Move down to Free in Plan & billing. You keep your paid plan until your next bill date, then you're on Free and nothing more is charged.
