Vezmo vs PayPal: an alternative for invoices and card payments

PayPal's strength is its buyers: many of your customers already have an account. Its US fee page, updated 4 Nov 2026, charges you 2.99% + $0.49 when a client pays an invoice by card, 3.49% + $0.49 when they pay with PayPal, and a 3.00% spread to convert a payment. A $100 payment on a US-issued card costs $3.08 with Vezmo, with 1% to convert.

Choose Vezmo if
  • Most of your clients pay invoices and payment links by card
  • Clients abroad pay you by card, and you want +1% for a card from abroad instead of PayPal's +1.50%
  • You want invoices, subscriptions, proposals and e-signatures in the account you get paid into
Choose PayPal if
  • Your customers expect to pay from a PayPal or Venmo balance
  • Clients pay invoices under $1,000 from a US bank, where PayPal's 1% costs less
  • The platforms you sell on pay you out to PayPal
